Last time, dear readers, we saw that Aimee had a rather frightening encounter in her dreams. Then, upon awakening, she discovered that a mysterious visitor had left her not only a gift, but quite perplexed as well.
Where does the golden path lead? Did she meet The Big Bad Wolf in the enchanted woods? Just whose voice had she heard? And what does the lilac mean? So many questions now spin through Aimee's mind as she embarks on an inner journey to find answers.
She is not the only one in her city to grapple with the unexplained, however.
The veil between worlds is thinning in the area of Cornwall and S.D.&G., Ontario, and its residents are getting a taste of what is to come. Creatures and beings of all kinds are slipping through out of the darkness into conscious reality, while reality itself sometimes takes a turn into the bizarre.
